Thomas. Follower of Christ.
Ready to race with Jesus toward possible death.
But not ready to trust what he hears from others.
Sound familiar?
 
The journey from Easter to Pentecost is full of stories.
They continue to form and transform us.
Our humanity continues to shine through.
And the light of Christ is our guide.
 
As we walk with Thomas, with our certainty and our doubts,
from day to day, our lives will be different.
Doubts can be cherished, certainty may be challenged.
Within it all, new life can be celebrated.
 
Let us gather for worship.
