For kids grade six through twelve and their families. We meet regularly to worship, play, study and serve. We hope to uncover more about who we are as beloved children of God and people deeply connected to each other and to the world. To learn more, check out the schedule of events or contact Maggie, our Minister to Youth and Families, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Youth group is mostly about spending time together and offering a place where we can just be ourselves, playing, resting, asking the questions we need to ask. During the year we also gather for field trip including some of our favorites eg. our annual fall retreat, a Christmas trip and sleepover.
Compassion, Justice and Peace
Our youth are part of the life of the church and as such are deeply involved in our mission work. They offer ideas about how we might engage in mission and get involved in the planning and implementation of our life of service. Check out our pages on Mission and Local Service Work for more information.
Youth at St. Andrew are encouraged to share their gifts in worship. Talk to Maggie if you would like to read, lead prayer, play, sing or get involved with drama.
Confirmation is a period of questioning and preparation for those who are contemplating membership of the church. We meet on Sunday evenings. Please talk to Maggie if you are interested in membership of the church.
