Scott Anderson
Pastor

Scott has been serving Presbyterian (PCUSA) congregations since his ordination in 1994. He received BA degrees in Psychology and Christian Education from Seattle Pacific University before heading to Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta for his MDiv. He served congregations in Missouri and Washington before arriving at St. Andrew in the Spring of 2004. Scott received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Seattle University in 2017, exploring themes of ordination and leadership, particularly as they have to do with shifting values and institutional evolution.
A long-time Pacific Northwesterner, Scott loves to spend time in and around the forests, mountains, and waters that shape this region’s unique religious and spiritual identity. Scott lives in Renton with Barbara, his wife of 30 years. They have two adult children, Claire and Peter.

Julie Kae Sigars
Associate Pastor of Music & Worship

Julie Kae has been with St. Andrew since 2007. In her role as Associate Pastor at St. Andrew, Julie Kae preaches, presides, and leads the churches song as choir director and coordinator of a capable cadre of volunteer musicians. In addition to her role at St. Andrew, Julie Kae maintains a private voice studio, and is an Adjunct Professor at Seattle Pacific University, where she teaches a variety of classes including Worship and Music and Song of the Church. She holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Seattle University, and was ordained as Teaching Elder (Minister of Word and Sacrament) in April of 2012.
Julie Kae Sigars has been seen and heard in opera, operetta, musicals, oratorio, recitals, galas, solo orchestra appearances, pop concerts, cabaret supper clubs, and commercials. She as appeared in numerous roles with the Tacoma Opera and Everett Opera. With NOISE (Northwest Opera in Schools, Etc.), Julie Kae has toured Western Washington elementary schools in condensed versions of well-known operas.
A native Texan, she also has music degrees from the University of North Texas and Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM) and has served on PAM's National Board.
Julie Kae is married to local writer and columnist Chuck Sigars. They have two grown children, Beth (Camron) and John, and grandson Bixie.
