Donations electronically
St. Andrew supports two procedures for donating online. St. Andrew can accept donations that you make from your bank's web page where your bank will mail in your name a check to St. Andrew. St. Andrew can also accept donations directly from your credit card or checking account using the Presbyterian Foundation Online Giving service.
Online donations from your bank's web site
The Bank Web Site Option enables the donor to have their bank mail a check to St. Andrew. The checks are typically written from a checking account, but any type of bank account can be used that the donor has check writing or online withdrawal privileges.
Tool - The option uses the Bill Payment tool that most banks support. Donors should not try to use Zelle (another popular banking tool) since Zelle does not permit transfers to St. Andrew’s commercial checking account.

Online donations using the St. Andrew web site
if The St. Andrew Church Web Site Option enables the donor to make a donation using a donate button on the church web site. The tool charges the donor’s bank account or credit card and holds the funds in a secure Presbyterian Foundation account until the end of the month. Then at the end of each month, the funds are automatically transferred electronically and deposited in St. Andrew’s US Bank checking account.
The option of charging a donation to a checking account or to a credit card is a key feature of the service.
Tool - The option uses the Presbyterian Foundation Online Giving tool. It is a service provided by the Presbyterian Church and includes numerous investment products. The “Donation Button” takes you to the online donation form.
Fees - The cost charged St. Andrew by the Presbyterian Foundation for this online giving service is 2% of the donation. The donor may manually increase their donation by the cost of the fee so that St. Andrew programs are not impacted by the church being charged the fee and thereby reducing the intended donation amount. If giving by credit card, the donor may select an option to pay the fee in which case the charge to your credit card will automatically be increased an additional 2% above the amount of the donation.
Donation Designations - The options for the donations is limited to two items:
A donor can always use the Designated Fund option at any time for any purpose by sending an email to [email protected]. The email should include the donors name, amount of the donation, the date the donation was made, and the intending use of the donation.
Donation Button – Click on the button to make a donation. The online giving system will guide you with a number of screens so that you may input the amount of your donation, which fund you are donating to, your name and address and email (so that we can send you a record of your donation) and the bank account information or the credit card information you are using to make the donation.
