Mission Goals (Post 14)

LISA PHILLIPS

One of our group goals for this Mission was confirmation that God is in our midst. 

And so, I’ve been noticing the big little things.

• Delighted smiles among people who have just met.
•  “Thank-you-ness.”
• Thumb wrestling, Uno, and soccer don’t require common language.
• Listening without judging.
• Persistence, patience, and energy to keep working around any obstacle.
• The power of a kind word at the right moment.
• Expanded comfort zones.
• Sharing food.
• Daily reflection.
• A culture of responsibility.
• The privilege of being a family, no matter what form that takes.
