COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church is seeking a Communications Coordinator who is primarily responsible for the overall communications strategy of the church within the congregation and with the broader community. The Coordinator will be a part of a ministry team that includes the pastoral staff, volunteers, church members and community partners. Desired qualifications/experience:
Writing & Editing: Writes, edits and oversees as necessary newsletters, worship aids, posters, fliers, brochures, articles and other documents developed for congregational use, fundraising, community outreach, and other purposes. MS Office Suite familiarity necessary with particular competence in Publisher and Word.
Digital Communications: Oversees St. Andrew’s online presence, including generating content that is engaging and current. Develops, leads and implements long-term strategies for the use of email, social media, web content, and video content.
Volunteer recruitment and supervision.
Facilities Scheduling: Oversee building usage and scheduling.
The Coordinator’s time commitment is 12 hours per week (nominally 3 hours for 4 days/week) and the position’s initial salary range is $16 - $20 per hour.
